Solution
The specificity of the MES solution for this customer is the monitoring and recording of parameters of extremely short production cycles with a large number of produced pieces within one operation. S&B is thus a typical representative of so-called “mass production” in the field of munitions manufacturing. The high demands of the armament industry have led to the standard MES PHARIS here using production logistics tools for on-line editing and unambiguous traceability of packaging units (PUs), both at the level of single operations and multiple production orders. This allows production managers to monitor and use the capacity of packaging units with maximum efficiency, while maintaining (and possibly demonstrating) high technological discipline.
