Licensing, pricing and support
On-premise or subscription
By default, MES PHARIS is delivered as an on-premise solution, meaning the software runs on the customer’s servers within their own infrastructure. The customer retains full control over data, operations, and system security.
For companies that prefer operating expenses (OpEx) over a one-time capital investment (CapEx), we also offer a subscription model (license rental). The regular fee depends on the scope of deployed modules and the number of client licenses.
Modular licensing
MES PHARIS is licensed modularly. A customer can start, for example, with production data collection and electronic production logging, and later expand the system to include other areas such as APS, Maintenance, Production Logistics, etc.
Thanks to this modular approach, you only invest in functionalities that bring real value to your production.
Server license
The server license entitles the customer to run the server component of the MES PHARIS system. The license is tied to a specific server instance and is not limited by the number of registered users.
The number of concurrent users is determined by client licenses.
Client licenses
Client licenses determine the maximum number of clients concurrently connected to the MES PHARIS server—whether they are office computers, production terminals, or mobile devices.
The licenses operate on a Concurrent User principle. For example, if a customer has 20 client licenses, they can have an unlimited number of registered users in the system, but a maximum of 20 can be logged in at the same time.
The number of client licenses can be increased at any time to match production growth, the number of workstations, or system expansion.
Support and system updates
A manufacturing execution system is a long-term investment. That is why we offer the Support and System Updates service, which ensures smooth operation, expert technical support, and continuous development of the solution.
SLA and customer support
The service specifically includes:
- A modern helpdesk for tracking and resolving requests
- Guaranteed support availability according to the agreed SLA level
- Telephone and email technical support
- Access to the PHARIS Academy knowledge base
- Regular prophylactic system checks
- Prepaid consultation and service hours
System updates
The service also includes:
- Regular upgrades of the MES PHARIS system

An active Support and System Updates service ensures access to the latest system versions, security updates, and expert technical support throughout the entire life cycle of the system.
What Influences the system price
The final project price depends primarily on:
- The chosen system variant
- The scope of deployed modules
- The number of client licenses
- The number of production workstations
- The scope of integrations with ERP systems, machines, and third-party systems
- Requirements for implementation, training, and commissioning
