The Danish engineering and construction company Idé-Pro was founded in 1994 and bought their first injection molding machines three years later, expanding its activities into the production itself. Today, this small company (approx. 200 employees) is a leader in the field of prototyping and small series production of plastics, EPS and light metals, such as aluminum, zinc and magnesium.

MES PHARIS provides comprehensive production management, meeting high demands for detailed planning and scheduling module (APS).
It is the APS module and the process of releasing work orders into production that are subject to extreme demands, thanks to frequent small-series, typical for the so-called prototyping process. Part of the production is also the supervision of tools (molds) intended for small production batches.
An important motive for the maximum use of possible automated scenarios of the MES PHARIS system is the fact that the hourly wage of an employee in production is still more than double compared to Central and Eastern Europe. The consistent introduction of Industry 4.0 principles into production in this company is therefore due to clear cost savings resulting from the optimization of all production processes.
